As many of you know Roaring River and other State Trout Parks are open for Catch and Release Fishing on Friday, Nov. 14, 2008. You may fish on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. This is prime time for trout fishing in my opinion.
Although the crowds are gone there will still be plenty of avid fisherpersons down there so continue to practice good fishing manners.
Look for the Blue Impala, it might be mine, and I would be happy to meet any MAKO members during a fishing trip.
Last season the San Juan Worms were very successful. Chamois, red and natural were the best for me.
Don't forget to try nymphs, midges and streamers. All of these flies can be used with success.
Let me know how you do and what flies you were using.
FishON!
