    As we welcome Fall, my thoughts turned towards getting more fish for the native aquarium.  There would not be much time left for those warm days when the the little sunfish feed the best. 

Off I headed with fly rod in hand.  I relish the idea of a few hours away from the books and professors.  Sunfish on the brain, I wade into the cool water of Spring River.  Minnows galore!  Great!  This means the fish will still be feeding well.  I will get to take a few home for the tank.

A few yards upstream is the first pool I know holds some little guys.  They should be just the right size for taking home.  Tying on an orange maribou type wooly (a Dee original), I flick it softly towards a root wad.
