In case anyone is wondering, we are still planning on having session 2 tonight at 6:30.  The roads in Joplin are clearing a little with today's sunshine.  Hopefully most of the group can be there.  Main thing is to be safe.  If you don't feel comfortable driving, we will figure out another date to get everyone caught up.  For those that can make it tonight we will get started wrapping the guides, and set a date for the final session.

Several of folks have already finished their rods.  They all look great and some have already started on their second one.  It can be addicting !!

For those that haven't completed theirs, and want some assistance, we will be meeting this Saturday 2/7 at my office to work on them.  The address is 2727 East 32nd in the Park Center office complex.  This is on the north side of 32nd street between the large church and the old Smitty's grocery store.  It's very close to Abbey Title.  Phone number here is 206-0600.  Come in the front doors and turn right.  We will meet at 10am on Saturday and everyone will need to return on Sunday at 1pm to pickup their completed rod.  Everyone will need to have the guides wrapped and a couple of coats of color preserver applied to the thread.  We will be putting the clearcoat finish on the wraps and setting them into the drying motors to rotate overnight.

Even if you've finished your rod, you are welcome to come and watch or help or just visit with everyone.  Members that aren't building a rod this time around are still welcome to come.  We may do another set of classes later in the year.
